        Hour one: Abstinence Education: Advocates of abstinence-only
sex-education are seeking increases in federal funding for their
programs, and are getting a lot of support from the Bush
administration. Diane and her guests take a look at the debate over
abstinence-only education. Guests: Sarah Brown, National Campaign to
Prevent Teen Pregnancy; Leslee Unruh, Abstinence Clearinghouse;
Gloria Feldt, Planned Parenthood
        Hour two: Adam Nossiter: American journalist Adam Nossiter
grew up in Paris. In his new book, "Algeria Hotel" (Houghton
Mifflin), he tells of returning to France to learn more about what
happened there during World War Two, and to explore the ways that the
secrets and painful memories of 60 years ago still affect France
today.

Fresh Air with Terry Gross (Noon - 1pm)
        Celebrate the hundredth anniversary of Louis Armstrong's
birth with MICHAEL COGSWELL. He's the director of the Louis Armstrong
House and Archives, and he'll play some of Satchmo's home recordings.
Also, Kevin Whitehead reviews two new Armstrong re-issues.

various plans being promoting to reform the way Americans vote
        Hour two: LAWNS & THE ENVIRONMENT: Some ecologists are
convinced that chemicals Americans use to care for their lawns are an
environmental hazard. Melinda talks with guests about the grass in
your yard and how it might impact the environment.
