        1: New Mexican President: On the day before his inauguration,
Mexican president-elect Vicente Fox is the subject of the hour. Diane
and her guests discuss the biggest challenges Mr. Fox will face as
leader of Mexico, and the political and cultural significance of his
election. Guests: Denise Dresser, Pacific Council on International
Policy at USC; Riorden Roett, Johns Hopkins School of Advanced
International Studies.
        2: Anthony Lake: Former national security advisor Anthony
Lake predicts the greatest threats the U.S. faces in the 21st
century, both from outside and from within our borders.  In his new
book "6 Nightmares" (Little, Brown) he describes
frighteningly-possible scenarios involving dangers ranging from
biological warfare to computer hacking, and talks about how the U.S.
can best address these security problems.


Fresh Air
        EVA MARIE SAINT talks about starring with Marlon Brando in
"On the Waterfront" and with Cary Grant in "North by Northwest". She
stars in the new T-V movie "Pappa's Angels", which will be broadcast
Sunday night.

FOR THE PRESIDENCY, part one. America is in the midst of a profound
political and historic event. The post-election battle for the
Presidency has riveted the nation and raised questions about the
electoral process. As part of our series on the Changing Face of
America,  Juan Williams hosts a live, town hall meeting from Goshen,
Indiana to talk about how the current election turmoil is affecting
the way we view our government and democracy.
        Hour two: NATIONAL TOWN MEETING ON THE POST-ELECTION BATTLE
FOR THE PRESIDENCY, part two: First-time voters. There has never been
