The Earlham College Ornithology Class visited Whitewater State Park
this morning from 7:30-9:15 -- a beautiful morning with lots of song.
Among the usually expected were two noteworthy first records (for us)
for the spring:

Bonaparte's Gull 2 (basic plumage)
Pine Warbler 1 (singing in the jack pines near the fish-cleaning shed)
