Greetings!
It was slower banding today than Sat (65+birds inc 34 warblers from 12
species {Connecticut, Chestnut-sided, Canada, Bl th Green, etc}, but we got
some cool birds including today's quiz bird. We also banded a hatch year
male YB Chat looking very dapper (Chats molt into their prebasic on the
summer grounds). Although not a bird, I included some pictures of a Robber
Fly, an ambush predator of insects, that decided to use our bird rack as a
hunting perch.
Cheers and good luck!
Dave
