Amazing number of birds have arrived in the last day or two. Eastern
Kingbirds, Wood Thrushes, and 16 Caspian Terns were at Brookville last
night. This morning while banding below the dam at Hueston Woods, we
banded a Wood Thrush, a Common Yellowthroat, several Gray Catbirds, as well
as a couple Swamp, Field, and White-throated Sparrow. Warbling Vireo, House
Wren, Prairie Warbler, and Baltimore Oriole were singing. I enclosed a
picture of a pair of Gnatcatchers and the yellowthroat.
