The LITTLE BLUE HERON was still visible from platform D at 8:30 this
morning. The bird was as far to the right as you can see from the
platform. I observed the bird feeding about 1 time per minute for a 5
minute period and then it took to the air. After gaining altitude and
flying to the Northwest, it joined up with a flock of 5 GREAT EGRETS
and they all flew off to the northwest, apparently leaving Gilmore
Ponds.
