Well, actually, I'm only a Hokie by association. When I lived in VA,
the closest cool place to go was Blacksburg. I still love Blacksburg
and try to go whenever I'm in Va. It's like a mini-Chapel Hill!

Yeah, we did that. My brother-in-law and I like Drivin' N Cryin', but
my sister and her friend didn't, and since we hadn't paid to get in we
didn't feel like we were wasting money! The time we saw the Connells
open for the HooDoo Gurus, easily 2/3 of the crowd left when the guyss
finished. We stayed because we'd always liked what we'd heard of the
HooDoo Gurus, but the show was awful.
