Hello, everyone.  Well, I hit the Mayflies show last night at the Upstage in
Philadelphia.  There were maybe 20 there, and it turns out that the 'flies
weren't even closing (they're running second for a lot of the shows up here).
 I think they played maybe 10 songs.  AND whoever was doing the sound did a
lousy job - you could barely hear the vocals.

Anyway, after the show, I was talking with the 'flies.  We (of course) got to
talking about the Connells, and the Mayflies mentioned the coming album.
They also said that there's supposed to be a tour after the release of the
album, and that the Mayflies might be opening.  Very cool.  This means a
chance for at least one more live show, and that was pretty exciting.  So,
bring it on!
