February 28, 2001
Fraternity Arson Fire
Kansas University
Lawrence, KS
A fire in a vacant fraternity is thought to be arson. The fire damaged the
upper two levels, with smoke and fire damage throughout the building. The
unsprinklered building was vacant because the fraternity members had to
vacate the house under a mandatory sprinkler ordinance.
