Greetings... January listers, Skyline Challenge contestants and other
curious folk willing to make the drive to Clermont County might be
interested in a long-tailed duck reported from East Fork State Park, today.
This appeared on the Birding in Cincinnati website this evening:

"Date: Friday, January 28, 2005
Location: East Fork Lake spillway
Reporter: Jeff Brown
Other Birders: posting for Matt Miller

My good "snooty world birder" friend, Matt, called me today at work to rub
in my face that he was watching a winter plumaged OLDSQUAW swimming around
East Fork. He described the dark cheek patch and dark back with white sides
pretty well."

Take care, safe travels, etc.,
