Jaime,

Last email for the week... I hope.

Just so that we are not duplicating the same effort here.
Do you wish me to put in place the third fix of mpiexec for PBSPro ? Or
do you wish to put it in place yourself ?

I fixed the scripts so that it doesn't give out such error messages
listed below.

Thanks,
Robin

I've fininshed with the work-around for PBSpro systems required by
mpiexec. You can grab the code from

    http://www.osc.edu/~pw/mpiexec/mpiexec-0.81-pre2.tgz

or just do "make install" in ~pete/src/mpiexec-0.81-pre2. It'll
turn up as a real release soon enough. Note the 0.81 you have
installed really isn't, it's actually 0.81-pre1 or maybe some other
slightly later release. 0.81 will come later someday.

Here's how I configured it for your system:

    ./configure --with-pbs=/usr/pbs --enable-pbspro-helper --with-default-comm=ib

It passes all my tests.

There is something funky with your mom setup for users of various
shells. I use bash, so am perfectly happy, but here are some of
the errors you can expect for other shells (via -S /bin/ksh, e.g.):

    ash, bsh
    [: ==: unexpected operator

    ksh
    declare -x G_BROKEN_FILENAMES="1"
    [... 100s of these]

    tcsh
    SSH_CLIENT: Undefined variable.

Take a look at your /etc/profile /etc/bashrc /etc/profile.d/* to
figure these out if you want. Or maybe prologue and epilogue.
