SAS does not run on EM64T platforms yet. The only Linux 64-bit 
version at the time is for
Itanium-2 processors.

SAS is licensed according to the number of cpus in the system, so it 
will be extremely expensive
to get a license for our cluster. We need to check with OSC to find 
out what they do.
I am thinking it may be possible to limit it to one node and have a 
dedicated queue for SAS.
But of course we need to wait for the right version.
