Although not intending to be on bird watch patrol today, we couldn't
help but notice a female oriole that perched on the feeder this
morning here in Wakeman, Lorain County. We seem to be in the middle
of a flock of females with a high count of 5 on the 17th of July.
Other increases in activity have been noticed among the hummingbirds.
We've had a high count of 6 currently dashing between our 6 feeders
front and back yard. Final increase has been in titmice. Our high
count has also been in the neighborhood of 6 daily.
Needless to say, we are happy birders in Wakeman
