Hi,

I can't get to my home directory on redhawk: /home/ramelota

The problem seems to be the ssh key:

Creating directory '/home/ramelota'.
Could not chdir to home directory /home/ramelota: Transport endpoint is not conn ected
/usr/X11R6/bin/xauth: error in locking authority file /home/ramelota/.Xauthorit y
/software/tips/bin/hottip: Transport endpoint is not connected.

It doesn't appear that you have set up your ssh key.
This process will make the files:
     /home/ramelota/.ssh/id_rsa.pub
     /home/ramelota/.ssh/id_rsa
     /home/ramelota/.ssh/authorized_keys

Generating public/private rsa key pair.
Enter file in which to save the key (/home/ramelota/.ssh/id_rsa):
Could not create directory '/home/ramelota/.ssh'.
Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase):
Enter same passphrase again:
open /home/ramelota/.ssh/id_rsa failed: Transport endpoint is not connected.
Saving the key failed: /home/ramelota/.ssh/id_rsa.
/etc/profile.d/ssh-key.sh: line 170: /home/ramelota/.ssh/authorized_keys: Transport endpoint is not connected
chmod: cannot access `/home/ramelota/.ssh/authorized_keys': Transport endpoint is not connected
chmod: cannot access `/home/ramelota': Transport endpoint is not connected

I am logged in now, but can't cd to my home directory.

I've tried to connect from two different computers, so I think the problem is on the redhawk end.

Thanks,

-Theresa
