Hello,

Myself and my students have observed that when compiling c or c++ code with
icc, the resulting code does not play well with gdb (gnu debugger) and gdb
appears confused and out of context when debugging. My current thought is
that possibly the icc generated code would interoperate better with Intel's
debugger, idb. I am wondering if we have licenses for running Intel's
debugger (idb) on RedHawk. If we do have licenses would it be possible to
use idb for my ongoing summer course (csa-443-543)?

Thanks

With regards
