I am sending this out on the Partners List.

But, I was having a discussion first then post the Blogs on our Group Site, then select the featured Blog ..just the opposite of what you are planning. The choice is really up to you -I am willing to let the group decide.

Subject: Group projects

------------

Hi Rodney.  I met with my class for the first time today.  One of their questions was about getting groups set up for projects = service learning or case studies.  Since so many schools aren't starting until September or October, I guess we need to wait awhile to set up the groups? Which means I can't ask them to turn in updates until later in the semester.

Another question - do we have a deadline each week for faculty to select and post a "featured blog"?  I am asking my students to post on the Truman blog by midnight on Sunday each week (we meet on Mondays and Wednesdays) and I was thinking that would be the Sunday BEFORE we discuss the readings in class, but now I'm not sure.  What time schedule do you recommend?

Thanks.

Elaine McDuff
