They may not be especially pretty, but they're functional in the short term,
which is all that is intended, per the "About ..." document that appears

Per that same "About ..." document, a central server is in development
and should be available by summer.  Although the "About ..." doc doesn't
specify it, that server will be qi-based.

MCIS is testing qi servers on both OCEAN (OpenVMS) and Rose (AIX).
