Students wishing to be excluded from publication in the print
and electronic Directory must visit the Office of the Registrar and
complete the normal request form(s). Students entering Miami for the
first time -- freshmen and new transfer and graduate students -- are
automatically excluded from the electronic directory until October 1st
to afford them ample opportunity to contact the Registrar's Office to
request exclusion if they wish. (Returning students, who have already
been afforded an initial opportunity for exclusion, are automatically
included in the Directory unless they have previously and specifically
requested exclusion.) Subsequent exclusion requests are reflected in
the electronic Directory within 24 hours of being processed by the
Registrar's Office. Emergency exclusions, requested by the Department
of Public Safety and/or the Office of Student Affairs, are processed
immediately by the electronic Directory administrator
([log in to unmask]).

Staff and faculty members wishing to exclude their personal
information (spouse, home address and home telephone number) from
the print and electronic Directory must visit the appropriate
Personnel Office and complete the normal request form(s). Staff
and faculty are afforded an opportunity annually at the start of
each academic year to exclude their personal information from
publication in the print and electronic Directory. Subsequent
exclusion requests are reflected in the electronic Directory within
24 hours of being processed by the Personnel Offices. Emergency
exclusions, requested by the Department of Public Safety and/or the
Personnel Offices, are processed immediately by the electronic
Directory administrator ([log in to unmask]).
