I've been listening to it for a couple hours now and I keep hearing
snippets of other artists here and there.  When "Just Like That" first starts
up, I think Tom Petty?  "Back To Blue" reminds me strongly of Juliana
Hatfield...and is it just me, or is that a Star Trek IV snippet tacked onto
the front of "Too High".
   I like the album, but I agree it takes some time to begin to sink in.
 Nothing immediately reached out to grab me like the previous albums, but
there is much more depth in the song construction, and the lyrics -- while
less complex -- seem to mesh with the melody and bind it rather than leading
the melody as it did in the previous two albums.
 
   Anyone else notice this?
