The Connells played an incredible (big shock) show at The Ranch Bowl
in Omaha.  I got there early and as I got out of my car I saw Mike and
Dave walking from the bus toward the entrance of the Ranch Bowl.  Mike
casually asked me how I was doing.  Needless to say, he found out that
by seeing them (in person for the first time) i was doing quite well.
 
He told me to come in and hang during the sound check, and the rests
is just details.  I probably made an annoyance of myself, going from
member to member asking questions but this was THE CONNELLS how could
I not make myself an annoyance?
 
Anyway, the guys got to know who i was and i positioned myself between
Mike and Doug on the first row.  I was taking a lot of pictures during
the show, that at one point Doug motioned me to hand him my camera and
took a picture of me during an instrumental interlude.
 
Well, there's a lot to tell, but i must go vote, and then go spend 5
hours in class, but i will say this.  Jimmy told me to expect an
identical tour after this one winds up.  So, if you miss 'em this time
around, they'll be around again within 6to 9 months i'd imagine.
ANyway, i don't know if that's news to anybody, but one last thing.
Gorge said they'll write a few songs over Christmas time and hopefully
have new album out next year.  Just my 2 cents.
