Kent Covert has already responded to this in the appropriate newsgroup
(mu.comp.mail) by noting that mailfwd.muohio.edu is a Simple Mail Transfer
Protocol (SMTP) server for outbound e-mail only.  It only supports
non-interactive connections from e-mail client programs such as desktop Eudora
for Macintosh and Windows as they send outbound mail.  It does not receive
incoming e-mail, and it this has no reason to (and does not) support
interactive logins via Telnet or any other method.
