Hey once again, all:
 
     Response to the video tree continues to be impressive.  I need to make
     two more requests, however:
 
     (1) When you send me a message asking to be added to the tree, please
     specify whether you can be a branch (can you make video copies?) or
     whether you must be a leaf (also, don't forget your geographical
     location).
 
     (2) If you can, by any means fair or foul, be a branch, please
     volunteer to be one.  We have a severe shortage of branches.  A couple
     of you have volunteered to rent second VCRs in order to be branches,
     if necessary (kudos to you), and it may become necessary if more
     people with two VCRs don't start signing up soon.
 
     I would like to keep the number of leaves per branch down to about
     four, if at all possible.  More than that really eats into one's time
     and makes the whole effort more burdensome than fun (the video
     collection was nearly an hour long in its original form, and if the
     "Maybe" video and the last Conan O'Brien appearance have been added,
     it would be over an hour by now).
