As of 5:35-5:45am Saturday, 6 September, the Hamilton modem pool appears to be
answering incoming calls, then dropping very quickly before any modem
negotiation can take place. A period of silence ensues before a Cincinnati
Bell recording kicks in, saying 'If you wish to place a call ...'

This is with an IBM ThinkPad with internal 28.8 modem, running Windows 95.

P.S. Oxford PPP modems are answering me just fine, although TACACS doesn't
like my NDS password. So, as usual, I'm telneting in through FUSE.
