PPP service to Hamilton should have dratically improved in the last
couple of days. Cincinnati Bell had 6 misconfigured lines that dropped a call
as soon as it was connected to the T1 card, 1 noisy line that caused a very
long handshake and eventual call doom which was fixed by replacing hardware in
Cincinnati Bell's central office and 4 lines which were disabled by Cincinnati
Bell's trunk group for unexplained reasons.

One bright note, the old AS5100 has been replaced by a new AS5200 which
has wonderful phone line diagnostic capabilities which was able to identify ALL
of the above problems even when the phone company could not.

I regret any inconvenience caused by the previous service, however I
believe all phone line related problems have been solved.

I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should
challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly
by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him.
