Come now, noble academics of all areas...this is getting a bit ridiculous.
 
The dicsussion is wonderful, even momentarily fruitful and exciting at
times.  But how about sitting down in the living room and hashing it out.
In an environment where you all, and anyone else who wishes to have their
say, can get involved on a person to person basis. Ask questions right
then and there, really try to understand the other points of view, and
continue to back yours even stronger.
 
I'm tired of recieving all these crazy messages, which should be applied
in a completely different manner. Get off your computers, out from behind
your closed doors, and into the living room, or the dining hall, or Rhia's
room 200, which she has offered as a space for discussion many times over
this list-serve mania!!!!
 
If you really have something to say, say it. Don't hide behind the screen.
Please.
