Hi fellow list serv members.
 
The Executive Source is a retained search firm based out of New York City.
We  specialize in recruiting senior Human Resources and Training and
Development professionals. For the most part, our clients can be found
within the wider financial services community, usually organization's who
are leaders in their field.
 
One such client has retained us to find a Senior Training and Performance
Development Consultant. The firm, a leading nationwide insurance company,
based in NYC, is seeking to build a training function which will be closely
aligned to the businesses that make up the company. I have enclosed a job
description for this position in the hope that you, or someone that you

strategic training consultant for a major piece of business, where you can

Position:       Director, Senior Training & Performance Development  Consultant
 
Employer:       Major financial services company in NYC.
 
Duties: Provide consulting services in the areas of training and
performance improvement, developing comprehensive solutions to improve
individual,group and organization performance for assigned business
units,integrating corporate initiatives such as leadership,management
development,culture change and professional skills. Design and implement
competency based training, development programs and change initiatives.
Assess needs, identify client results and manage client expectations.
 
Qualifications: Degree and 6+ years experience in a senior training and
development position within the financial services/consumer
products/professional services environment. Expertise in some combination
of management development, leadership/organization effectiveness, corporate
culture change management.
 
Compensation:   to $100,000 + incentive
