So much to say...I'll condense it to the important points. Crowd was
thin at first for Possum Dixon, whom we enjoyed, but the frat boys
packed in for the Connells, though none of them had apparently heard
anything except Fun & Games. Set list started with FNG, included Hats
Off, no Scotty's, and much yelling of "Panama!", "Runnin' With the
Devil!" since Doug wore a Van Halen tour shirt with "I Love My Baby's
Pound Cake" on the back. After the show, Mike said he thought it was
one of their worse shows performance-wise, but it sounded great to us
laity.
Got to meet all the guys, have a couple of drinks with Doug, and a
photo with Huntley and Mike. ALSO, got the DEMON issue of the UK
Darker Days signed by all (sans Potak). Memphis tomorrow night...
