In 1987 or 88 we started playing them at the radio station I worked
for. I swear we had Boylan Heights *and* Fun And Games in the studio
during this time, though have disputed this, saying both albums were
not out at that time. I can't remember for sure. Whatever. Anyway,
my co-workers talked me into going to see them. Even though I liked
what I'd heard so far, I almost didn't go! Glad I wised up.

Needless to say, it was a very positive experience! I'm sure you'll
all agree that the first time you saw them live, there was just
*something* about them that got ya. I'm afraid what got *me* was Doug
singing Uninspired. :> I was hooked.

Well my brother was a DJ at his college radio station a few years back, and my
mom wanted to hear him since we were in a different town, so he taped one
episode and i listened to it, and on it was Slackjawed, which i immediately
fell in love with, and here i am now....
