I don't want people to get fired either, but is ANY information concerning a
rock-n-roll band that privileged?  Come on, these aren't national defense
secrets!  Is anyone really inept enough to think that people talking about a
band is ever a bad thing?  Are there any spys for the "Stamp Out The
Connells" committee on this list?  Probably not.

Herein lies a big problem with the bands management and record label;  they
don't really exploit this list of dedicated fans.  They've come around a
bit, but they still have a long way to go.  Every press release should be
posted here.  Every list of tour dates should be posted here.  Anything
related to the band should be posted;  not as an afterthought, but as part
of a regular routine.  We are all aligned behind the band in wanting their
music to be heard by the masses.  Therefore, we should be the first to hear
any band related news.  We should be considered part of the promotional
machinery.  If the powers that be haven't realized any of this by now,
well...
