talk about her first novel in six years, "By the Light of My  Father's
Smile" (Random House). The novel is about two sisters, and how they reclaim
their selfhood and  their sexuality after a violent incident at the hands
of their father.

                       Touching Evil. We talk with PAUL ABBOTT who wrote
the new mini-series which will air this week on PBS. It  depicts the hunt
and chase for fictional serial killers in Britain.
