caused by spasmodic dysphonia. She will return to the program as soon as
she is able. Steve Roberts is guest host this week.

becoming the nation's largest minority group.  ashington Post reporter
Roberto Suro talks about his book "Strangers Among Us: How Latino
Immigration Is Transforming America" (Knopf).

                       11-12: Environment and Health: A discussion on
environmental pollution and its relationship to increased  cancer rates and
other health problems. A panel of scientists and activists talk about the
research being  done in this area, and what we all can to raise awareness
and protect ourselves.

to buy up material that could be used in nuclear weapons from Russia.
What's at stake is safety from renegade groups who might want to acquire
nuclear weapons...but there are significant obstacles to implementing the
plan.
