Yes, I know there is a question of legality in copying music and giving it
away, and yes some have great moral convictions on this issue....BUT...

can someone name a band with multiple releases, such as the connells who
have lost market share/popularity or a great deal of revenue due to tape
trees, trading, bootlegging, ect?  was it phish???  dmb???  dead???   ( i
answer"D", none of the above)

if anything, people giving a sampling of cool songs to a friend does
nothing more than share the coolness and entice someone to buy the real
thing.  thats how i was introduced to the connells and have spent money on
their music as well as shared my liking of them with others.


by the way....is anyone going to tape the concert saturday night?

and...i need directions from 85 to the cradle
