Brock, I have just searched around the NCTE website, but I could not find a link to the convention next year in Baltimore. As a member, I probably have this information somewhere in my "backfiles" but cannot find it now. Do you know if there is any information online, such as the theme, submission forms, place? I hope to be able to go to this conference (finally within a realistic travel radius), preferably as a presenter, preferably on a grammar-related topic, so if anybody out there has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Thanks, Helene --- "Haussamen, Brock" <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Dear ATEGers, > > The NCTE convention was held this year in Milwaukee > the weekend before last. > ATEG's session was scheduled at a miserable > time--4:45 pm on Saturday--and > yet about 40 people showed up for a discussion on > "Grammar Education for > Teachers and Students."
