At this time of year, back in Wisconsin, I would frequently hear "O Lutefisk" on the radio. Sung to the tune of "O Tannenbaum," it paints an appetizing picture of the stuff. Here's one verse: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Lutefisk, O Lutefisk, how fragrant your aroma, Lutefisk, O Lutefisk, you put me in a coma. You smell so strong, you look like glue, You taste just like an overshoe, But lutefisk, come Saturday, I tink I eat you anyvay. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: This is available in its entirety at http://www.ii.uib.no/cgiwrap/arntzen/sanger/html/l/lutefisk_o_lutefisk I do not think I have a jazz version of this song, but I'll look.
