Hello-

For research purposes I'm interested in what other repositories have
done when dealing with donors who, after they have made their donations,
later become problems.  I know that a good acquisition policy is written
to prepare for potential problems, but for matters of public relations
oftentimes we still have to tread lightly.  These problems could include
demands about their collections, constant complaints and being a
nuisance in general , their going over the department's staff to school
administration, demands for preferential treatment, and threats by the
donor to withdraw the collection.  Specific cases would be welcome and
all reports will be confidential.  Thank you.
