The Library and Archives of New Hampshire’s Political Tradition is a non-
profit 501c3 corporation, specializing in New Hampshire’s political history
since 1952. Our focus is on the New Hampshire Presidential Primary, but
extends to state and local politics as well.

The Library has a pre-professional position for a processing archivist open
beginning immediately and lasting for a period of three months. There is a
possibility that the position will be extended.

Qualifications: Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program in
Library and Information Science, and have successfully completed at least
one of the core courses in the archival program or one course directly
related to processing and collection management. Special consideration will
be given to candidates with processing experience and/or experience in
cataloging manuscript collections. An interest in Political History is
highly desirable.

Hours: The ideal candidate will be able to work a minimum of sixteen hours
a week. We offer a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities: Processing of the collections and assisting with the
digitization of the collections are the primary responsibilities of this
position.

Remuneration: $10 per hour.
