I often see the following construction:
  "Would you mind if I added your name to the list?"
  "Would you mind if I add your name to the list?"
I accept (and often find myself writing) the latter.  But if we're splitting hairs, the "if" indicates conditional subjunctive, so wouldn't "added" be more correct since that is the form for other subjunctive-mood constructions such as "If I were you..."?
