This is easier than the former question because the horizontal lines holding
the verbs can be brought together again into one from which the prepostional
phrase can then be extended.

Another RK question:

In diagramming this sentence, where does the adverbial/prepositional phrase
go?

At the party, John sang and danced.

The sentence obviously has a compound verb; the prep. phrase applies to both
verbs.  

How is that shown?
