Paul is absolutely right.
I live in Connecticut, too – but I’m also battling the flu and I think my fevered brain had me addled. Sorry for any confusion,

Conference--flying suggestions?
I live in CT. There are no trains from Hartford to Fairfield. There is probably some van services, but it's probably about 90 minutes from Bradley to Fairfield Univ. A taxi would be way too expensive. The Fairfield train station is convenient, but it's a hike to the Univ. I'd suggest the cab service (I know there are taxis there, but I can't remember the name of the cab company). By the way, the train from Grand Central to Fairfield (New Haven line) is Metro North. They have a very easy to navigate web site if you're looking for schedules. It's about $20.00 round trip (off peak, I think) and takes about an hour and 40 minutes usually. If you're hooked up with a local hotel, you might want to get their advice, too.
