Dear ATEGers, Toward the end of the spring semester, I attempted to switch most of my school/academic-related e-mail to my university address. One side-effect was my inability to post to ATEG's listserv, although I could receive messages just fine. The problem was never resolved (perhaps I was afflicted by the same problem as Johanna??). I'm now back to using my standard e-mail address, and I'm going to attempt to post this to the list. If it works I'll hope you'll accept my thanks on many counts. For starters, just before my e-mail went kaput, I had posed a question about tense and modal verbs. The responses I got were thoughtful, intriguing, and quite helpful. Also, I've been following many of the other threads and coversations, and I've been delighted to see that ATEG continues to be such a fine group, one that I'm excited to be a part of. I really enjoyed Craig's recent postings in anticipation of the Scope and Sequence project at the conference. While I won't be able to attend the conference as I had hoped, I look forward to hearing all about it! Thanks again for all the great posts!
