Craig, There is no reason for Phil Bralich or anyone else to impede progress on the scope-and-sequence project. Also, one should reach a limit regarding how much energy one expends on responding to criticisms from someone who seems impervious to valid counterarguments. It's often hard not to respond, but it gets to be a waste of time when one's defenses are ignored, summarily dismissed, or criticized illogically. Two strategies: (i) resist the urge to respond yet again with a lengthy, decently argued response; (ii) hit the delete button. Everyone on this list has that choice with regard to every message (including mine). If your project got strong support at the ATEG meeting, there is no reason to believe that won't continue. If someone wishes to create a competing or separate project, let them, and let them look for support.
