  I think you will find that Harcourt Brace's  Warriners series is commonly 
used (in ts various editions and levels) in more traditional schools.   
Recently (within last 5 years), various high school publishers are putting together 
combo packs of their own grammar text / writing text and literature text.  This 
allows them to focus on particular skills in each of these areas.   There has 
been a large consolidation of publishers for high school texts in the last 20 
years.  You could probably find their catalogues/sales reps and get more info 
that way as there are not that many anymore.
   The leeway that an individual teacher has in selecting texts varies from 
location to location.  In many districts there is a book selection process/team 
whose investigation and choice then dictates what text is used; in other 
places, the selection is made on an even wider scale than the individual district. 
 In some private or parochial schools there may be more latitude of choice 
made available to the individual teacher.
