This year is the 50th anniversary of the publication of The Christensen Rhetoric Program. I have worked to keep the memory and methods of Christensen alive through updates and reissues of the program's workbook and the essay collection Notes Toward A New Rhetoric. I taught writing using his system for over 40 years, and I currently watch over an expanded version of the course, online. I also hope to have a series of Kindle books available within a few weeks.

In celebration of this anniversary, I am planning a presentation at this summer's ATEG conference, and I need some help. I would like to connect with as many people as possible who might have ever used the Christensen materials in their teaching, or who might have even known him as a colleague or as a student of his. Spreading the circle wider, if you know of anyone who has ever mentioned, studied, or expressed interest in Christensen, please let them know of my effort to honor this great scholar. Any anecdotes, photos (yearbooks?), or ephemera would be greatly appreciated. And if you would like to share the stage with me at the conference regarding your recollections or with your own tribute, so much the better!

Looking forward to hearing from you.
