On April 22nd, we have arranged a "behind the scenes" tour of the Omnimax Theater in the Museum Center at the Cincinnati Union Terminal. First we'll join the viewing of the 8:00 showing of "Special Effects" which gives an inside look at how Hollywood creates the spectacular. Following the film, we will see the technical side behind these big screen theaters. Arrive about 7:30 to allow yourself a chance to admire the old train station and the mosaic tile murals which illustrate Cincinnati industries. The cost for the tour is only $5.50 per person, $1 off the regular price for the show. All SWE members, their families and friends are invited. Please RSVP by Monday, April 21st to Alison Haskins at 868-5975 ext. 205 or email [log in to unmask] The Omnimax Theater is part of the Museum Center at Cincinnati Union Terminal, the art deco style train station built in the 1930's. From I-75, follow the blue signs for the Museum Center to Exit 1-H for Ezzard Charles Drive. The Museum is west of the interstate and easily seen from the highway.
