Dear List Members,

I am hoping to locate information about women's roles with food and
alcohol production, as well as with hospitality, in Africa circa 1500 to
1800, for my dissertation. I am especially interested in those areas
hardest hit by the slave trade.

Are there any works that list members might suggest? This is
a new area for me, and I would appreciate any recommendations.

thank you,

Sarah Hand
