The journal Dionysos (Seattle University) focuses on literature and addiction.
For instance in the Winter 1997 issue Mary Corey discusses the hard-drinking
writers in the New Yorker in the years immediately after World War II, while
Marty Roth discusses female drinking in vintage films such as Philadelphia
Story. Dionysos costs $5 a year for individual subscribers. The editor is
