This is a request for a someone, who has worked in the area, of to give a 
talk on celebratory upper middle class drinking in Victorian England for a food 
study day on Victorian Christmas eating and drinking for November 2007. This is 
being provisionally planned for by Kensington and Chelsea arts and recreation 
department. It is intended to take place at Leighton House Museum, where the 
audience is likely to include an interested general public, food historians 
and those with related interests. A fee and expenses will be paid. This will
