The problem I was having is that on some searches, using
archie -s substring
provided results, where as
pipe archie -s substring > results.txt
provided "No matches."... but only on some searches, not all of them.
For example, when I searched for "linux" with piping, it gave me no matches,
but when I searched for "wmos" with piping, it worked fine. I did this
several times with the same results. Both searches without piping returned
hits.
