Thanks to all who have answered back with their job classification. I
have 9 samples of job titles for my upgrade package. If there is any one
else out there who wouldn't mind sending me a quick one liner (to
[log in to unmask]) with your job title, grade and salary, it would be
very helpful. I have attached a copy of the original request below.

To all my college colleagues. I have a question in which I need as much
feedback as possible as soon as possible.

After six years, UNM is finally considering reclassifying my job
position from "Fire Safety Specialist" which is a grade 13 - to a
management level position/Title. Since I hold the only such position at
UNM, our HR is not sure what to call me (i.e. Manager, Fire Marshal
etc.) Could those of you who are in a management positions in fire
safety take a moment and e-mail back to me
individually at [log in to unmask], your job title, grade classification
and if you don't mind (I promise not to share this) your annual salary?
UNM is trying to decide on how to bring my title and salary into the
main stream of other
universities. Thanks in advance for your help.
