The Ohio Basic Building Code, Chapter 12 (OAC Chapter 4101:2-12) Interior
Environments, Section 1204.0 Room Dimensions, Paragraph 1204.2 Floor Area,
will give you the dimensions you are seeking. In addition, check you local
building codes for their particular specifics.

Subject: minimum square footage for dorms

        College or university personnel,

Does anyone have a minimum square footage for single rooms? Is this
a city,
        state, or university requirement?

Thank you in advance for your help,
